About MLP

There are tremendous benefits to being a member of a professional association. MLP's purpose is to maintain the integrity of the landscape contracting industry and improve the business of its members through:

Communication
Promotion of ongoing interaction among the members through referral business; social and educational events; peer networking and industry participation. MLP’s member directory consists of landscape management contractors, green industry suppliers, and educators.

Certification
Sponsorship of the Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP) program, designed to ensure the public that successful candidates have demonstrated a high level of competency and knowledge within the landscape management industry.

Education
Design and support programs such as monthly dinner meetings, study sessions and educational conferences that improve the business, horticulture and contracting skills of the membership.

Information
Constant appraisal of the membership as to the latest industry research; new products; equipment; and legislation issues.

A membership application may be printed out from this website and mailed, with payment, to the MLP office. Applications will be reviewed at the next scheduled Board of Directors meeting.
